BJJ classes near Eastleigh
Eastleigh is closer to our mats than most of Southampton is. The gym sits at City Gateway in Swaythling, right at the northern edge of the city, so from Eastleigh, Boyatt Wood or Bishopstoke it's a straight run down the A335 past the airport in about ten minutes. The train is even simpler: Swaythling station is a few minutes down the line from Eastleigh, and we're a short walk from the platform. If you've been weighing up whether Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is worth the travel, here's the honest pitch: we're a beginner-first academy with a structured four-week on-ramp, a published timetable and published prices, and a free first class so you can judge us before spending a penny. Evening classes start at 6:30 or 7:30pm, which is very doable from a five o'clock finish in Eastleigh, and the Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime classes suit anyone working near the airport. Several members make exactly that trip two or three times a week and are on the mat with time to spare.
Getting here from Eastleigh
By car or bus
About 10 minutes by car down the A335 past Southampton Airport, or take the train from Eastleigh to Swaythling station (a few minutes) and walk from there.
Parking
Two hours' free parking in the car park behind the unit, another on the road opposite, plus on-street parking on Burgess Road. No city-centre car park needed.
