MTHD: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Southampton

Book a free trial class

A beginner-friendly martial arts academy in Swaythling, Southampton. No experience needed.

01Why train here

Training built around how people actually learn.

Sessions are designed around clear learning goals, so techniques connect from week to week rather than arriving as disconnected tricks.

01

Structured coaching

A planned curriculum, not a random technique of the day. You will always know what you are working on and why it matters.

02

Beginner-friendly by design

Fundamentals classes assume nothing. No experience, no fitness requirement and no kit needed for your first session.

03

A supportive community

Training partners look after each other here. Egos stay outside, questions are encouraged and new faces are welcomed properly.

04

Training for every level

From a first session to competition preparation, the programme supports recreational and competitive goals side by side.

02Who it’s for

For beginners. For competitors. Probably for you.

Most people who walk through the door have never trained before, and most of the nerves disappear inside the first ten minutes. If you are unsure whether MTHD is for you, start with the beginners’ guide.
